In ancient Egypt, the literal translation of Merkaba is broken down by syllable to mean MER (rotating fields of light) KA (spirit), and BA (soul). In Hebrew, Merkaba translates to “Chariot”, and literally becomes a vehicle for ascension. It activates the protective love of the universe and awakens, heals and transforms on the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional levels. Merkabas are tetrahedrons, one of the Sacred Geometry forms, and is shaped by the intersection of two, three-sided pyramids. The Merkaba is the geometric shape of the human energy field (or aura) and it is used to assist in spiritual transformation, as well as helping to connect with our Higher Selves. These shapes are believed to form a spiritual shield around the holder and are very useful for healing the chakras and during meditation.
